The MSI MAG Z790 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI motherboard is designed for gamers, giving a stable basis for their PC setups. It has various cutting-edge technologies, such as Wi-Fi 7, 2.5G LAN connectivity, DDR5 memory compatibility, PCIe 5.0 support, and a proprietary M.2 Shield Frozr for best performance. This motherboard is completely equipped to support Intel’s next-generation and 13th-generation Core CPUs. It has a premium VRM design with 16-phase mirrored Power Arrangements, each rated at 90A SPS, twin power connectors, and a Power Stage, making it well-suited for high-end processors.
The advanced SMT (Surface Mount Technology) used in the PCIe slot reduces interference and electrical noise, ensuring reliable PCI-E 5.0 signal support. When compared to the previous generation, this more than doubles the bandwidth of an x16 interface, reaching an impressive 128GB/s. Furthermore, the sophisticated SMT welding method minimises electromagnetic interference and flaws in slot solder junctions.
