With eight cores, 16 threads, and a dedicated AI engine, the AMD Ryzen 7 8700F 4.1 GHz Eight-Core AM5 Processor brings your gaming and content-creation experiences to new levels. Designed for socket AM5 motherboards using the powerful Zen 4 architecture with the 4nm process, this Ryzen processor delivers significantly improved performance compared to its predecessor while maintaining high energy efficiency.
With a base clock speed of 4.1 GHz and a max boost clock speed of 5 GHz in addition to 16MB of L3 Cache, the Ryzen 7 8700F is built to deliver the power needed to smoothly load and multitask demanding applications. Pairing this CPU with a separately purchased Radeon graphics card with AI acceleration enables the AMD Ryzen AI engine, which uses the dedicated NPU, GPU, and processing cores to accelerate AI workloads. You can boost performance further by overclocking this unlocked processor. Other features include support for PCIe Gen 4 technology to take advantage of high-bandwidth graphics cards and storage drives. The Ryzen 7 8700F also supports up to 256GB of 5200 MHz DDR5 memory with compatible motherboards, which may be overclocked using AMD EXPO profiles for higher gaming performance.
This processor has a 65W TDP (Thermal Design Power) and includes a Wraith Spire cooler. The AMD Ryzen 7 8700F does not include integrated graphics, meaning that users will need to purchase a dedicated graphics card.
