Covid 19, Store Notice

COVID-19 – Store Update – Shipping and other changes

With the rise of Covid-19 in South Africa during the 3rd Wave. Most to all suppliers staff are all working from home. With the higher numbers increase we are deciding to rather instead of going to suppliers to collect stock is to either ship straight from supplier to us or straight to the customer. This is to be in less human contact with suppliers and on the road. What does that mean for customers?

  • Shipping will not change however some items are able to ship straight from suppliers. Should items be from multiple suppliers they will be shipped individually for example a CPU may be shipped separately from the motherboard at no additional cost.
Self Delivery from Tech Guy SA in the Cape Town Region. Depending on Disaster Management act on level restrictions Self Delivery may be disabled and shipped same method as above.
  • Service remains unchanged except some company traditions such as a Thank you Cards and “gift” may not always be shipped due to the Shipping changes straight from suppliers if it comes to us then to you those items will be added into the order.
Call outs and on premises jobs are dependent to Disaster Management Act Levels. Will be case by case (Such as Computer repair / Upgrading Laptops / Services) may be suspended.
  • Support Remains unchanged to which customers contact us over Phone / Whastapp / Emails / Chat (Tawk.to) as these can be work from home methods.
  • Covid 19 Protection. We take precautions regarding Covid 19 with hand sanitizers, mask and just keeping our distance from other human contact. That being said We are implementing this changes to take bigger pre caution in the fight against Covid 19
  • Invoices will be as per usual emailed and available My Accounts page to view and download as a PDF.
