Can you believe it? Tech Guy SA has officially turned 5 years old — and honestly, neither can we! Time really does fly.

Looking back, it’s been an incredible journey. We started back in 2020, right in the middle of the COVID pandemic — talk about timing! From graphics card shortages to load shedding, we’ve faced our fair share of challenges, but hey… what’s life without a few obstacles to overcome?

We’ve grown from a small catalog of just 1,000 products to now offering over 20,000 items (and counting). There’s always something new coming in — sometimes faster than we can keep up!

Of course, 2025 has brought its own unique challenges too. With the increase in cyberattacks happening around the world (including here in South Africa), we’ve had to work even harder to keep our systems safe and stable. While it’s caused a few slowdowns behind the scenes, our top priority has always been you — our customers — and making sure your orders are processed first, no matter what.

We’ve also been hard at work renovating our website to make your shopping experience smoother than ever. From a refreshed homepage to improved menus and categories, we’re streamlining everything to make it easier and faster to find what you need.
